This cache is located in Ramapo Valley County Reservation. The park
is only open during daylight hours.
This cache is an ammo can requiring a decent bushwhack from the
Yellow-Silver trail. The closest point from the trail to the cache
is 0.34 miles.
Make sure that you park in a legal area and approach the cache from
park property. There is *NO* parking at Camp Glen Gray,
Midvale Mountain Road, or Bear Swamp Road. Avoid the nearby
private property - the proper approach is from the Yellow-Silver
trail.
Ground Zero for this cache is a scenic overlook. The cache is in an
obvious spot, NOT near the edge. Please be careful.
Please remember that these connected parks are home to all sorts of
wildlife, please be observant & cautious. I have run across
black bear, snakes, deer, and lots of TICKS here (amongst many
others).
