Located in the Orchard Hill Nature Center in Newtown. Plenty of parking off Huntington Rd.
This cache contains two books. Please sign the black notebook to collect your smiley. The other book is the Hall of Heroes. It is for the brave men and women who have given their lives in service to this country. If you’d like to submit someone for the Hall of Heroes there’s only two criteria: 1.They must have served in any branch of the US military, police, or fire department. 2. They must have died in the line of duty. (I appreciate your grandfather was in the army, mine was too, but that’s what Veteran’s Day is for.) If you’d like to type your thoughts ahead of time, or include pictures or newspaper clippings there are glue sticks and tape provided. The Hall book is 8 inches X 5 inches so plan accordingly. There’s scissors also if you need to do some on site trimming. I’ve opened the Hall with three young men I had the privilege of knowing and serving with. I'd like to keep this one free of swag. Travel bugs and coins are welcome and encouraged, but no plastic dinosaurs or golf balls please. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The beautifully painted ammo can was stolen and it has been replaced with a lock'n'lock. There's is only one log book in it.
