Come one come all. It is that
time of year when we celebrate the SCGA. We started all this back
in July of 2007. Here we are 3 years later and stronger than ever.
Many things have changed over the last three years. There are
events being held along the Space Coast all the time now. We would
like to invite our caching friends from all over the state to come
celebrate with us.
The event moves back to July
3rd this year. That is a Saturday so no excuses why you cannot make
the event. Like all our events in the past we will have plenty of
things going on to keep everyone happy. There may be some new
caches placed in the area. We have another fun game or two for
everyone. We will be playing geo-yahtzee this year. It is sure to
be fun. We also have something else planned but that will have to
be a surprise. We will have our normal things going on that we
always do at our events...if you have been to them in the past you
will know what I am talking about and if you have not been well you
will have to show up to see. We will have raffles, giveaways, some
very special edition Space Shuttle coins and a brand new special
event coin just for this
event.
Dudeswithjeeps will once again be cooking
Pork and Chicken. The SCGA will provide all the plates, utensils
and paper goods. We will also bring some water. Everyone else needs
to bring something to share based on your caching name. See below
for more details.
FOOD:
If your caching name starts
with the letters A - F....you bring a
desert.
If your caching name starts
with G - K you bring some drinks to
share.
If your caching name starts
with L - T you bring a side dish (potato salad, beans, casserole,
etc).
If you caching name starts
with U -Z you bring a bread
product.
Again, all meat, paper
products, utensils and water will be provided. Alcohol is NOT
permitted in the park so do not bring it. This is a family friendly
day at the park.
We will have a table set up for trackables.
Please remember if you bring a trackable for discovery log it back
out of the event. We still have trackables listed in last years
event an entire year
later!!

Fun, fellowship, games,
giveaways and food. What could be better. We look forward to seeing
everyone whether you are new to the game or a seasoned cacher we
invite you to come out and spend the afternoon.
For those of you that have your
own Kayaks feel free to come early and grab the two nearby island
caches. There is a yak launch here in the park.
