Aulangonvuorella 33 metriä korkean graniittitornin rakennutti eversti Hugo Standertskjöld 1907. Torni on osa everstin vuosina 1883-1910 tiluksilleen rakennuttamaa englantilaistyyppistä puistoa.
Näkötornin juurella on näköalatasanne, josta maisemat Aulangonjärvelle, sen alapuolella on Segerstrålen 1934 maalaama fresko.
Tornin lähiympäristössä on yli 100-vuotiaita mäntyjä. Tornin kupeessa kasvaa everstin aikana istutettu pihtakuusi.
Näköalatasanteen vierestä laskeutuvat kiviportaat karhuluolalle, jossa Stigellin 1905 veistämä karhuperheveistos. Luolalle laskeutuu nopeasti 322 porrasta pitkin.
The 33 m tall lookout tower of Aulanko was constructed in 1907 by Colonel Hugo Stardertskjöld. A vantage point is situated on the root of the tower and beneath it You´ll find a fresco.
The pines around the tower are over 100 years old.
Next to the vantage point are steps (322 pieces) that leads You down to the Bearcave.

You´ll find a password on the cover, tell it to the geofriendly-muggler-coffee-shop-owner and get a free cup of coffee ot tea in the nearest cafeteria when its open in the summer 2012! The gate is closed from 23 to 7 o´clock, but You may enter the area by foot or by bicykle.
