B10: How Often Do You Look Up? Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

GeoHackers: With regret I am going to archive this one. I went to the cache site and it is not the best place anymore. I found a couple of things I would not want any cacher to put their hands into. Thanks to all those who found the cache.

Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the posted coordinates but is within easy walking distance from the downtown core.
I placed this cache as a little bit of history for people but also close enough to downtown for people visiting without a vehicle to have access.

Victoria has a lot of history. Did you know that the oldest Chinatown north of San Fransisco is located in Victoria?

I work downtown and often go for walks. When walking I often look up and I am amazed at all of the cool buildings which look so different compared to their storefronts.I hope this cache will give you a chance to see some of Victoria's historical arcitecture.

To find the cache have a look at the pictures. Each picture has a little puzzle which needs to be solved. The pictures are located in the gallery and have been named as indicated in column 1. The hints are in column 2. The cooridnates are in order of the hints so there are no tricks. You simply need to find all 15 spots. All spots are within the downtown core.

A new and fresh geocoin has been placed in the cache for the FTF to contrast with some of the old buildings. Watch for muggles as they sometimes camp out around here. I was able to place the cache with some sleeping muggles within 5 metres. Be stealthy.
