A very steep trail leads from a pullout on Holdings Road down to the Adams River Gorge. Be very careful as it can get slippery. The trail is on the East side of the pullout.
Reception isn't very good but the cache is fairly easy to find (especially with the hint).
The rapids in the canyon are at their best around the middle of June when the water is at its highest level.
