You are seeking a small cammo'ed container on the far side of Stanhope Cemetery at the cross roads outside of Alma Center, WI.
This lovely old cemetery lies in the shadow of the great Silver Mound ~one of the legendary outliers of the region. It was rumored to harbor rich veins of silver in the pale glittering outcrops once viewed from a distance. The rumors proved just that and silver was never found.
This cache is not located on a gravesite or marker. If there is a mourner present, please return at another time to find this cache.
Wisconsin cemeteries are open from dawn to dusk. Please respect these hours when finding these caches. Any logs indicating otherwise will be deleted.
