Geocache Description:

Trail may have some exposed roots, downed-tree obstacles, rocks and wet spots...so appropriate footwear is recommended. For the most part the walking is easy; and the trail should be good for non-beginner mountain-biking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing (although cache is most likely not winter friendly)

Parking is available at N44 54.116 W063 50.638.

The Red Spruce trail features magnificent hemlocks, a stand of straight red spruce (Nova Scotia's provincial tree), brooks, a mossy bog, and the lake. Since the Koalacanucks were in the area, we found a location that was simply too pretty to not have a cache. So, I placed one here. Congratulations to "The Red Fox Raiders" on the FTF!
