Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a series laid on or near bridges around the picturesque town of Frodsham. If you have time to walk around the village enjoy reading the blue plaques and admire the varying architecture of the many historical buildings.

There is plenty of parking around Frodsham and it’s free! Frodsham has a number of tea shops & cafes, pubs & restaurants, Thursday is market day.

Frodsham stands on the River Weaver and Manchester Ship canal. The importance of Frotesham was noted in the Domesday Survey of 1086 – Frod’s village held by Earl of Mercia. Ranulph de Blundaville,

The cache is very close to a railway foot bridge

This is a magnetic 35mm canister cache so please bring your own pen. On the log you will find a number which relates to the co-ordinates for the cache ‘Bridges of Frodsham #4’

I have moved this to near a railway foot bridge, just follow the path from the original location.
