This is a geocache located on the bank of an ancient river valley (though it may not look like it now!) This was originally the final stage of a multicache that never happened, so it is now a nice, big single cache! Did you know that this field was once an ancient river channel? The Department of Earth Sciences frequently demonstrates their ground penetrating radar technology here, because of the fluvial sediments overlying the obvious, thick layer of glaciomarine clay from the last glaciation. How cool!
There is one EASY and one DIFFICULT way to approach the cache. You can get to it from a parking lot off of College Ave and its a 4 foot walk into thorn-free woods. No need to get your feet wet!
