Geocache Description:

This is a series I thought of to share what I consider to be my caching essentials.

You may not agree because some are not really essential to caching. If you try them they may make the experience more pleasant. I am hardly ever without these items. I’m the type who wants to be prepared for anything.

Trekking pole: Friends that cache with me will tell you I take my trekking pole to most caches. I love it for scratching around in the leaves and bushes. I can't tell you how many caches I've found with it instead of getting my hands dirty and risking injury. I often hear the cache before I see it. It's an essential I learned from caching with the Sandhillers. It's not bad for keeping balance on tricky terrain too.

You shouldn't need one at this cache though. I just couldn't think of another name for this cache and had at least the one more essential to post.

8-26-13 Had to relocate the cache, lower the difficulty and change the hint.
