Mostly Moose: I had hoped this cache would make it for a full decade, but the area has changed and it now seems futile to maintain a cache at this location.
Thanks to all visitors, not least those whose logs have provided news of developments near this precious place - snake scares, hotel building, outrageous littering etc.

Geocache Description:

A quiet little spot on Koh Samui amid all the hotel developments.

In my village we have a word, "hundremetersskogen" - the hundred meter forest - which normally refers to a strip of forest threatened by urban development. This cache in Koh Samui marks what looks like a hundred meter jungle.
Not far from this quiet little beach, hotel developers are busy, and are probably lusting for this area, too. Clearly this area symbolizes the grand battle going on in Koh Samui between greed and green.
You can easily walk here from the main road, via a quiet lane starting next to the Dhewatara residence. Then refer to the trailhead waypoint. If you're feeling adventurous, going by canoe is possible, too.
The cache is available at all times, in a public area. It is made possible by the kind assistance of fellow geocacher chancerandom, who has offered to maintain it.
