Geocache Description:

Welcome to complete Solitude!!

I have been planning to put this cache down since last winter and I was up at the cottage for the weekend and the water was calm enough to break out the kayak and go for a paddle. This is one of my favorite spots to go and relax for a little while. I have yet to bump into another person while hiding in the little slice of paradise.

I highly recommend that you attempt this cache with either a canoe or kayak. I suppose if you really wanted it badly enough you could get in by foot but it really defeat the purpose. Please note that the water is far too shallow near the cache site to take a power boat.

The cache is a small sealed tube containing a pen and a logbook. It is hidden in the crux of a large stump that is almost completely surrounded by water.

Please be very mindful and respectful of your surrounds and enjoy the wildlife.

I hope you enjoy this area as much as I do. This is not a long or difficult paddle, but it is a beautiful one. Please enjoy it!
