Geocache Description:


This little treasure CHEST has been hidden on the property of a small COMMUNITY church. Hence the name of the cache.

Built in 1957, this small church has hosted several different church starts from Terrace Heights Baptist Church, to New Heights Open Bible and is now shared by two seperate churches of Destiny Church and Deeper Life Church. Unless you go through this neighborhood, one would probably not know it is even back here. Same little church over the years, but several changes have taken place here lately inside and out including adding a new playground which is still in the process.

I felt that this area needed a cache hidden and this property was the perfect place. You can drive right up to the cache location. I do have permission by the pastor who is a friend of mine. The cache is filled with various items for the kids and a geocoin to be moved along. The white lid on the container may be tight, but it does come off.
