Geocache Description:

Arizona Trail via Gardner Canyon. I would recommend a pickup (2WD) to drive to the trailhead for this cache.

Take Gardner Canyon road until you pass the ranch houses, cross the creek and see the forest service sign indicating the road to Arizona Trail. This road is immediately to the left (south) after passing the sign and crossing the cattle guard. Since last years fires they have blocked the last 1.5 miles of the road, so you won't be able to drive to the site. Stay on the road until you are within a few feet of the first stage. The coordinates will then lead you to a campsite on the south side of the road. It's the last campsite before Mt Wrightson trailhead. This place is frequented by horseback riders, ATVs, and mountain bikers. There is a large tree located on the east side of the campsite entrance, bordering the road. On the south side of this tree is a rock which beneath it lies coordinates to the cache site. Don't worry, your battle is over. The easy part is the 40 yard walk to the cache. Enjoy!
