Billy Goat Bluff Track is a popular track. It climbs nearly 1200 vertical metres in just 7klm's. There are rough sections and progress can be slow.

On a clear day the views from the helipad are spectacular.
This is definitely for experienced 4WD'ers only in capable high clearance and low range equipped 4WD vehicles.
This is a very narrow one laned track much of the way and passing oncoming traffic can be extremely difficult so please exercise caution at all times. It is not uncommon for motorcyclists to attempt the climb also.
Having said this the views from the top are exceptional and well worth the climb. There are another two caches located at the top of Billy Goats and the Pinnacles which you can collect after your ascent or before your descent.
