Geocache Description:

This cache is within the Crossroads Point area. At some point this location may be developed, but it is still primitive at this time. The cache is an ammo box containing various items and toys. The kids will like this one. It is in proximity to hotels and campgrounds, and would be a nice break from the road for travellers. The owner of this property has given permission to place this cache, please be respectful of the area
(keep vehicles on roads).

East of this site is a replica of the old Northside Inn that was originally located in the middle of Jerome. It was a landmark designation along the highway between Boise and Pocatello. It was built in 1908 to accomodate settlers that were moving to this area, and stood until 1966. The current building ( to be called the Heritage Centre) is to be a professional center to house offices for doctors, lawyers, realtors, etc.

If you want to check out some more Magic Valley history, there is the Idaho Farm and Ranch Museum not far away across I-93.

Can access this site from the west or east, but is easier from the east. Can get within 500 feet on the road. Fairly easy hike in the desert to the site.
