Smaxwellp recently directed a community theater rendition of
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland out this way, and being the good
boyfriend that I am, I volunteered to help with the production by
running the lights.
As a result of that, I have spent countless hours in the Valley
of late with little to do. You see, the director needs to be at the
theater 2 hours before each performance. The light guy isn't needed
until 30 minutes prior, so I had lots of time to kill.
After clearing out most of the short, easy finds in the area I
decided I would start placing some while I waited for Alice.
I saw this pull off and really wanted to hide a cache back in
the woods a ways, but figured with it being National Forest the
chances of that were pretty slim, so instead I placed it as more of
a trail finder. I was tempted to cop out and stick it in the
nearest available guardrail, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
This isn't much of a step up from that, but still a step.
