Geocache Description:


There were many different Pillboxes built during the Second World War for defending the Coastline of Britain.

Each type had a specific purpose and there are several examples of the various types between here and the sea.

This is one of the smallest, a Type 25 Anti-Infantry Pillbox.

Cache is a 35 mm film canister containing logbook, please bring your own pencil.

This is an area well known to many cachers as recently, each April, we have held a CITO event here.

This cache has been placed with the knowledge and agreement of the Seven Sisters Country Park Management and Rangers.
