The location of this cache is on a boundary of the Treasure Valley Scout Reservation, a 1600 acre facility operated by Mohegan Council. Depending on the time of year you arrive you will undoubtedly find Cub Scouts enjoying the outdoors through events such as Chuckwagon Derby, Webelos Woods, Cub Scout Day Camp, Webelo Resident Camp, or family and Pack campouts.
You do not have to enter the camp to find the cache.
The Cub Scout program in the US began in 1930 and currently is open to boys in 1st through 5th grades. This Cub Scouts offers fun and challenging experiences that inspire confidence and teach important values. Cub Scout geocaching is an important addition to the Scout program. This cache is designed with the Cub Scout and other young children in mind. Please leave appropriate toys and “swag” for young people of all programs.
The cache contains several Cub Scout and Webelo related patches, Mohegan Council Friends of Scouting patches, and Chuckwagon Derby neckerchief slides.
