Geocache Description:

The Hampshire Alphabet Chain is a series of caches, but with a twist - the difference being that the cacher who is First to Find each cache will be invited to hide the next cache in the series (if they wish). If you are the first to find this cache please indicate in your log entry (in the cache and on the web page) if you are willing to hide the next in the series. If not then this "honour" will pass to the second finder, and so on....

The cacher who is First to Find will, if they accept the challenge, hide the next cache in the series, following the criteria below: - The cache name will be Hampshire Alphabet Chain - (the next letter alphabetically) is for ...... - The cache must be somewhere in Hampshire. - The cache can be of any type / size / difficulty. - The cache location must be related to the appropriate letter of the alphabet, either by place name or some other relationship - this will probably be necessary for some of the more difficult letters... - The cache will include these instructions / rules to ensure that the chain keeps growing. Let's see how quickly we can get through to Z...

This is a simple traditional cache placed in Idsworth by St Hubert's Chapel. This is a charming little chapel built in 1053 by Earl Godwin of Wessex. It may well have been used as a hunting chapel by King Edward the Confessor.

You are looking for a clip lock box with camo tape around it. It is in the most obvious place you can see. Please ensure it is placed back well out of eye site as I am sure this site must see a lot of muggle activity.....as well as paranormal so I hear!

Here is a list of the caches in the series so far:

Hampshire Alphabet Chain - A is for Ashley placed by Chilihouse
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - B is for Broughton placed by 37251
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - C is for Cricket placed by SeekingSalters
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - D is for Dunbridge placed by 37251
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - E is for Eling placed by SeekingSalters
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - F is for Fritham placed by 37251
Hampshire Alphabet Chain- G is for Godshill placed by SeekingSalters
Hampshire Alphabet Chain - H is for Havant/Hayling placed by Grumpy Ant
