This is it - my final Wisconsin cache (for a while, at least)!
I'm off to the east coast for a month and then I'll be moving out
to Seattle for "a while". I'm not sure how long that is, but I hope
I'm able to return to Eau Claire someday. So many great memories
(not to mention great geocaches). This state has been my home for
nearly a quarter of a century and it's hard to believe that I'm
actually leaving it! But enough reminiscing; on to the cache
details!
This cache is located near the Eau Claire dog park towards the
south end of town. Stealth may be required when getting to the
cache, but not necessarily when retrieving it. FTF should treat
themselves to some of the swag inside (I always trusted my compass
more than my old GPS), but please leave the items that wish to
stay in the cache! Additionally, there are a number of tools
inside to help others create their own caches (two rolls of
camouflage duct tape, some super strong magnets, and some
waterproof matchstick containers) so go crazy!
I want to thank all the great Eau Claire cachers out there for
keeping me busy during my time here at the University. I'm going to
miss this place!
