The actual name of the cache is Finding Nebo; You Can't Get There From Here Mouse!
An alternate name could be Mouse!'s Misadventure.
You are looking for a smallish cache where Combs Road is blocked to vehicle traffic.
The day before Trailmix 19 on Nebo Ridge, I sent an email around asking for a ride. Mouse! was kind enough to offer a ride, but my plans changed at the last minute and I drove out alone.
After getting there, I noticed Mouse! was not there yet. As the time to set off on the trail arrived, I started to get worried. I tried to call Mouse!, but sadly there is no cell reception in the area. So we set off on the hike, hoping that all is well with Mouse!.
Finally, after we were more than halfway done Mouse! caught up with us.
What happened was Mouse thought we were meeting at the southern trailhead and when he got there, there weren't any cars. Realizing his mistake, he started looking for ways to the northern end. Unfortunately, you can't get to the north trailhead from the south in a car. He drove up Combs Road, hoping it would take him there, but encountered one of those brown metal gates the DNR puts over old impassable roads. Not having cell service and access to his maps on his phone, Mouse! drove to the fire tower and climbed to the top to get a good signal. Once he downloaded maps to his phone he realized the only way to get there was to drive all the way around part of the lake. So his plan B was to drive back to Combs Road and hike into Nebo and catch us, which he did.
After the Trailmix I gave Mouse! a ride back to his car and thought we should commemorate his adventure with a cache.
