Tricky and prickly - This cache has some serious vertical. Bring some water and wear solid footwear. It will probably take some time to complete. Access this cache up Morrissey Creek Road just off of Highway 3 near the industrial bridge. Go past the cattle guard and pick your starting point.
This is E and M's first cache hidden. E chose this as a prize from the Grand Forks Geocache Poker Run in May 2010. It didn't take him long to figure out where to put this one....
Rattlesnake Mountain was E's first accent in his young career of scaling mountains (April 2010). What we love about this trek is the occurrence of cactii, if you know where to look...particularly around the many rocky outcrops along the south facing slope. They look to be ready to bloom (late May 2010). Rattlers may be about so be aware, although we have never seen them.
Small Lock n Lock Cache Contains:
1) FTF - E's hand tied pink salmon fly (works well on the Campbell River)
2) Travel Bug (first deploy, thanks ON2GEO)
3) 4 hand wipes
4) Log Book
5) Green alligator clip
6) Rubber ball
7) Champaigne soap bubbles
8) Blue nail polish
