I placed this cache for the 2010 Northeast Geocache Bash, in case someone wanted a nice easy drive up. Once you get there you still have to FIND LOST RIVER.
Growing up as a kid we used to visit family in Lincoln. What I remember most was the all day drive from Nashua, riding in my uncles police cruiser on a much rougher Kanc highway than it is today. The basin as a swimming hole and not a tourist attraction, and a bunch of signs that read FIND LOST RIVER. Which we never did. I would think to myself, How can someone lose a river, or even try to hide one. Like most of our caches this one is also in plain view
The cache is large enough for a pencil and a log sheet and maybe some small trinkets.
