Geocache Description:

Everything you need WAS posted at the above coordinates. I have filled in the blanks for you so just head on over to the final. Less than 0.2 miles away. Parking is nearby.

Pink Luver and I were driving in the area and spotted this little plaque and just had to follow it up with a geocache. It is a story about things that just fell a little too short. Godfather Jeo will love it with his series of caches.

Due to an unforeseen accident the site with the information has been destroyed. So, I have included the coordinates for the final below with the original questions. Once the site is back up I may take away the easy stuff… or just may keep it the easiest multi you can do. Either way just go to the site and enjoy.

To Obtain the North Coordinates look at the sign, plaque, display, and everything around you and you will get:

A = August A, 1975 (A = 2)

B = Number inches multiplied by 3 (Do not use partial numbers) = B (B = 9)

C = The number of miles this ran = X (So X minus 12 = C) (C = 1)

To Obtain the West Coordinates look at the sign, plaque, display, and everything around you and you will get:

D = PAT.2.2.D.03 (D = 4)

E = This display was created by Boys Scout Troop #9E (E = 4)

F = The “number” of Sacramento Merchants who built the Central Pacific plus 4 equals F (F = 8)

Final coordinates are:

N 38° 42.ABC W 121° 10.DEF

Or if you want me to just give it to you…

N 38° 42.291 W 121° 10.448

Congrats to Gee O’Belly for the FTF.

As always… Enjoy
