COFTF Rotherham 4 Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Got cursed at COFTF 3 and am now hoping to pass the curse on!
The cache is placed on a public footpath which runs between Hellaby and the Stockyard pub. The footpath can be popular with dog walkers and if you are here in spring the daffodil field is well worth a visit. Car parking is available either at the Stockyard pub end or in Hellaby village both co-ordinates given below
The Curse of the FTF series requires the FTF cacher for each new cache to place the next cache in the series.
Here a few rules;
1. The FTF'er should place the next cache in the series (in this case, Curse of the FTF Rotherham 3) within 1 month. Please note only the FTFer should place the next cache and not every subsequent visitor.
2. You can only be a FTF for this series once. This spreads the FTF love around, and gives others a chance to play along (this is at least until everyone has had ago at FTF who wants to).
3. Cache can be any size or type of cache (Puzzle, Multi, etc.), but it should be set in the Rotherham MBC area.
4. You must include this set of guidelines in your listing for the series. I will be happy to answer any questions concerning the guidelines or about the placing of caches to those who have not placed a cache before. By way of clarification, there is no requirement besides the standard signing of the cache log to prevent you from logging this cache when found. Everyone should log their find, and hopefully the FTF person will play along and place another cache, but it is in no way a requirement for logging your find. But if you don't intend to carry on the series please DO NOT FTF please leave it for someone else.
Don’t think that if someone has already found it then you can’t. After the FTF curse is lifted, you should be safe enough to log this as you would an ordinary cache!
The cache is a small clip-lock container covered in black tape and only large enough for a few swaps/coins
