Geocache Description:

A reasonable easy small placed within the hide at the Masuma Dam Picnic spot, Hwange National Park. Masuma Dam picnic spot and its associated hide is one of the most picturesque sites of all southern African parks and resorts.

The camp site and hide are situated on a high point and the view from the hide is stunning. Exclusive camping is allowed at this picnic spot with the whole area for your exclusive use although other visitors may use the hide between 6am and 6pm. I placed this cache during a 4 day stay at Masuma. 4x4 vehicles are advisable and the distances are large. You will have to be totally self sufficient atlthough drinking water is available. The cache is a film canister in the wall at the back of the hide behind a rock.
