Geocache Description:

Remember the 1984 song by Steve Perry? I start singing it every time I drive through the little village of Sherry. Saw on the forums that another Sherry, aka WI. Hibiscus, had made her 600th find, so I decided to hide a cache for Sherry in Sherry. Congrats on the 600th.

The coordinates listed will not take you to the cache, but rather to an old grave marker in Fairview Cemetery. I was drawn to this stone almost as soon as I entered the cemetery, mainly due to the last name. I have never heard of this name before. You will need to use information from this marker to find the coordinates to the cache.
Coordinates are: N44º 34.ABC W089º 55.DEF
A = the second digit in John's birth year
B = the first digit in the date of Bertha's death
C = E - 2
D = A - B
E = The last digit in the year of John's death
F = the third digit of Bertha's birth year / 2

The cache container is a camouflaged matchstick container. As this is classified as a cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave marker or site. If there is a service going on, or folks are visiting their loved ones when you arrive please be respectful and come back at a later time. Your understanding and compassion for those folks will be appreciated. BYOP
