Fifth in a series along 2 miles of the Fall Creek Trail. Park at the trail head lot on the NE side of the bridge at Rd 1828.
This section of trail has always been one of my favorites and when the Clark Fire raged a few years ago, I hoped this area would be spared. When the gates finally opened, I went up and found most of my old route intact. This series of caches runs through some magnificent old growth fir, cedar, and maple to the edge of the burn.
Sokka was a cool cat who loved to balance on logs, although like me, he wasn't all that good at it. He would have dug this spot so I put a cache here in his honor.
Small lock n' lock, cammo tape.
Not at the log bridge, but just east of it on the little knoll overlooking the creek. There's a sharp bend in the main trail before it descends to the bridge. Look right about there for the little side track to the knoll. Stay nearer to the top. It's in a safe place, not by the water. Please re-hide well since this rest spot does get some visitors.
Hint is a spoiler in case you get stuck.
