The Cheshire Railings. The black and white iron fencing at road junctions and bends is a unique and distinctive feature of the county's highway landscape dating back as far as 1929. Time and road accidents have unfortunately taken their toll and they were introduced as a safety measure.
There is much debate amongst afficionados of this type of fencing as to whether the uprights should be one black and two white or one black and four white or which is all white or indeed all black. I have spotted various railings around the countryside. Parking is available right next to the railings and care should be taken when searching for the cache. The series was started up last year by dillonthedog and a few placed by Team RoKet.
The cache is in a 35mm micro film canister with a logbook. Please bring your own pencil to sign the logbook.
Congratulations to OliMilTin for the FTF.
