De tout temps, ce bois de 211'400 m2 a été considéré par la collectivité publique, comme un lieu de promenade.

Acheté en 1868 par les frères Turrettini, le bois a été offert à la Ville de Genève en 1869 avec comme condition qu'il soit toujours maintenu en promenade publique.

Il est à noter que deux cafés-restaurants sont établis dans le bois.

Historically, the wood 211'400 m2 was considered by the general public as a promenade.

Purchased in 1868 by brothers Turrettini, the wood has been donated to the city of Geneva in 1869 with a condition that is always maintained in public promenade.

It should be noted that two coffee shops are established in wood.
