You can say what you like about the doxietrekkers4 but you can't
say they don't have moxie!!
I first became acquainted with the doxietrekkers4 as they
started caching just before I did and I frequently signed logs on
my caches just after them. Our acquaintance expanded when they
screwed up a puzzle cache when I was going out for an insane 10pm
FTF! Then finally we made contact at their well placed night cache!
Suffice to say, It has been all down hill from there. We've had
caching adventures (ice trekking and graveyard scavenger hunts) and
caching sagas but all in good spirit and good fun! The
doxietrekkers4 represent to me what caching is all about....making
it your own game/sport and respecting others as they make it
theirs.Congratulations to them on their 1000 finds. I
thought we'd be doing it together, but I have fallen far
behind!
The cache itself is an appropriatedly camouflaged .50 cal ammo
can placed on trails that the doxietrekkers4 have gone to, and come
back, and come back again! Please respect park hours and don't
cache before 7am or after 11pm.
Given that the doxietrekkers are on a quest for 100 stars and
their 1000th find was in the middle of this, I gave them the
coordinates for the cache early, but there still is a smiley magnet
for the official first to find. I was going to put a coupon for
fiber bars but it was expired! Happy Hunting!
Important: DO NOT approach the cache from Old Westfall Drive.
That is Private Property and unless you live there, it would be
trespassing.
Congratulations to KnightKenaz and RedHead256 for their first
First to Find!!!
