Heya Boo-Boo!

This cache is in honor of all those park rangers out there who help make our hobby possible... And a special shout-out to Ranger Jason Allen with the Open Space division of the city's Park and Recreation department, who led us volunteers on a clean-up of McGonigle Canyon today!

This trail system used to have easy access and parking at the end of Torrey Meadows Drive, but there's a new housing development going in there now which is blocking it for the time being. There's a trail head off of Camino Del Sur near Watson Ranch Road that you can take instead. At that trail head I had the honor of helping Ranger Allen put up the new "Adopted By" sign. And there's a beautiful shaded area near there with a creek running through it where you can bring those pic-a-nic baskets full o' tasty treats!
