How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is dedicated to my three critters, two of which came from the nearby local lost and found. This is also the new location of a FRESHCO.

Cache only contains a log so bring your own pen.

This is a high muggle area so stealth is required.

Please ensure when replacing the cache you do so the way you found it so as to not give away its location. I utilize Rite in the Rain All-Weather Writing Paper in all my caches so a damp or wet log is acceptable and does not need to be reported.

When replacing cache ensure it is completely secure.

The coordinates were taken over two days at different times of the day with a four point averaging using my Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx.

Congratulations on FTF to allie_gator2006.
Congratulation on FTF (relocated & new cache) to Kyle_fitzy

Geocaching is all about getting out, exploring, seeing new places and attempting things that you might not have normally done in the attempt to locate hidden treasures in various areas within nature and communities. I do not compare the physical log to the online log, I believe a persons accomplishment is based on their individual standards and should never be limited based on a persons ability be it physical etc. I believe in rewarding the exploration and attempt and if circumstances prevent retrieving and/or recording on the log just send me an email describing the circumstance and feel free to claim your smiley. Get out, explore and enjoy…. geocaching has the potential to do that for you and remember it is just a friendly game to be enjoyed individually or in groups and should never be to the exclusion of others. ;)
