A Fungus Among Us.
One of several caches I'm placing at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. These are intended as easy, family friendly and along less-frequently travelled trails. Some entail a rather lengthy hike so get a trail map at the main building. There is an entry and parking fee to use the facilities but there's lot to experience.
Cache container is a 1.13 kg. plastic, camo'd nut jar with numerous trade items.
Suggest you start your trek at trailhead post HH. ( See trail map or use GPS. N 43 49.814 W 79 35.215) Head south through a beautiful mature forest, tranquil meadow and another mature Maple- Beech forest. Cache is along a side trail just across a dried creek bed (summer). Use title and response seen above which we quoted as kids to use as a hint. Location is rather obvious. Enjoy.
NOTE: THIS CACHE WAS PLACED UNDER DIRECT SUPERVISION OF PARK STAFF. PLEASE USE THE PROVIDED TRAILS AND VISIT THIS GEOCACHE ONLY DURING PARK HOURS.
