This cache is part of a series intended to showcase Wisconsin's Rustic Roads (WRR). Wisconsin's Legislature established the Rustic Roads program in 1973 to preserve what remains of Wisconsin's scenic, lightly traveled roads.
These caches are usually hidden near the right-of-way so that no bushwhacking is required. Please be respectful of private property and be aware that, although traffic is normally light, there may be no shoulder on which to park. Be sure to keep an especially close eye on children while hunting for the cache.
Wisconsin Rustic Road 43 is located in Racine and Kenosha Counties. WRR 43 is County Highway B from the intersection of WIS 142 in Kenosha County to its intersection with WIS 11 in Racine County.
WRR 43 passes through open agricultural land with a few residences, this route provides direct access to the Bong Recreational Area on the south end of WRR 43.
