What once was green, is now asphalt and concrete.
I guess they call it progress but for whom? This used to be a huge mango orchard, but now it's a Shopping center. I saw the Orchard in it's full glory, the depressing site of seeing only the stubs protruding the earth when the chopped them down, and eventually the complete annihilation when the bulldozed the area, filled and flattened with landfill. Nice shopping center, but Personally I liked the green better. What can we do? Progress it just rolls on forward.
