Geocache Description:

I suppose every cache has it's own bit of braggin' rights, no matter how miniscule it may seem at first.

This one can't brag about it's container .... it's just a measly little 10ml Cryo-Tube.

It can't brag about it's difficulty .... it might even be wheelchair-accesible.

No bragging about .... well, pretty much anything else .... except ....

THE VIEW!! To the west, there is some amazing scenery from here. Lake Maumelle is easily visible to the right, and the eastern beginnings of a couple main Ouachita ranges are in the distance right straight in front of you. And if you look really close, you can see my house on the side of one of those mountains .... 60 miles away.

And to your left & also stretching below you is a highway which I am VERY familar with. The first 9 months of my college years I drove back & forth several times per week between WestArk & LR, on Hwy 10.

Although I left for the military a couple years later & didn't see this highway again for over 10 years, it would soon become very familar once more. The last 2 years of my service were at Pine Bluff Arsenal & we drove Hwy10 a few times each month, going back home to visit.

Then after war injuries forced me to give up the very physical life in the military, I took a service job with AP&L (now Entergy). I traveled this highway yet more, several times per month, to work the far western reaches of AP&L's Little Rock office.

That lasted a couple years, before the injuries caught up with me & made an early retirement necessary. We moved back home, back to WestArk. But even that didn't keep me off this road. Both my father & me are Disabled Vets & so are pretty regular customers at McClellan VA in the Rock. You'll find both of us together around once per week .... sometimes his trip, sometimes mine .... heading either east or west on Hwy 10.

I'm always the driver, becase dad's not able to, and I've driven it in every condition possible, from 110+ with a forest fire on one side, to 20 & covered with a sheet of ice. I've probably even driven it a time or two while asleep .... not real sure. 1 thousand trips, EACH way, would not be an exagerration.

So enjoy the view from this cache. That's pretty much all it has to be proud of.
