Geocache Description:

Treetop view of several points of interest in the Irondale area. You can see over a mile from here.

Located on the Buckeye Trail in the Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve. You can reach this cache from either side of the mountain, starting from the Nature Preserve parking lot in the East Lake area, or from the parking area in the waypoint below which is in the Irondale area. Bring your own pen.

June 6, 2011- We just made a change to this one- We wanted to provide a much larger container with room for tradeables, trackables, and stuff for the kids. Look for the original small container, but in place of the log there is a note directing you to the new BIGGER container which is less than 20 feet away.
