The cache is about a 1/2 hour walk from the parking area at Simpson Park. The trail is uphill, but not very steep. My 8-year old son and my dog made the hike easily. Find the trails that generally go east from the park. The trils provide nice loop hikes. The cache is an ammo can and contains the following:
geocache info sheet, log book and pen, Earthlink 5.0 CD, small Business Guide CD, California Map, Palm Springs Map, Hemet Map, Wildflower Guidebook, Reptiles and Amphibians Guidebook, Fishing Guidebook, Southern Sierra Hike Guidebook, Monsters Inc. Toy Figure, Plastic Tonka Truck, Marbles, Seinfield Screensaver, emergency water and batteries.
Please trade the maps and guidebooks for other maps and guidebooks. Simpson Park has nice views of the San Jacinto Valley, Diamond Valley Lake, and the San Jacinto Mts. Enjoy the trails and the views. The park is open 7-5. It can get hot in the summer
