Walnut Creek Park. Lookout! Here comes a mountain bike!
Somewhere in Walnut Creek Park, a place near Charlottesville, well-known to many of the mountain bike persuasion. PARK and START AT THE MAIN TRAILHEAD (first parking lot that you come to at the lake). Do not start from the beach parking lot! It will help to become familiar with the layout of the trails (check out the trail map/kiosk in the middle of the parking lot). You might get wet feet traversing creeks. Summer leaf-out may make for GPS signal strain. The cache is now a green plastic ammo box. Please take the time to return it to it's previous place. Beware of fast-moving bikes -- post lookouts if you're making like Sherlock Holmes on hands and knees.
