Geocache Description:

Walnut Creek Park. Lookout! Here comes a mountain bike! Look up! There's a red-headed woodpecker! Cache rehabbed by Moonrakers recently 13 years after it was first placed, and there were goats involved.

Somewhere in Walnut Creek Park south of Charlottesville, well-known to many of the mountain bike persuasion. PARK and START AT THE MAIN TRAILHEAD (first parking lot that you come to at the lake). Do not start from the beach parking lot! It will help to become familiar with the layout of the trails (check out the trail map/kiosk in the middle of the parking lot). The cache is now a clear rectangular box. Please take the time to return it to it's previous place. Beware of fast-moving bikes -- post lookouts if you're making like Sherlock Holmes on hands and knees.
