Geocache Description:

A small cache at the new north extension to Tel Aviv's beach promenade.

Earlier this year (2010), a new section was added to the already extensive system of trails in Tel Aviv. This section connects Tel Aviv harbor on the south with Tel Barukh beach on the north. It goes west of the Redding powerstation, noticeable by its huge chimney, and west of Sde-Dov, Tel Aviv's municipal airport.

The trail is actually a wide paved road, very comfortable for bikers and walkers alike. It is well lit, and should be safe around the clock.

This extension of the promenade north required a new bridge to be built, to cross the lagoon the connect the power-station to the sea. You can easily reach it by first crossing the pedestrian bridge over the Yarkon, at the north end of the harbor area.

The cache is hidden under the bridge, on the west side. Please beware of muggles, the fishermen and especially the security patrols of the power-station.
