Another of the Coalfields detours.
Come up or going down the hill you will pass the one and only official Parking Area for a break. We have driven past it so many times and see how beautiful it looks surrounded by trees. Many caravaners and truckies use this stop, especially on the way down the hill. So I decided to stop and place a cache here and was not prepared for what I saw.
The Parking Area is nicely designed, but lacks facilities, i.e. bins, and thus the result is rubbish all around the area. I was a bit reluctant to leave the cache here but thought “now this would make a good - cache in, trash out”. So please, please take a bag with you and take some trash away.
The cache is a camouflaged sisena container with space for tradeables and trackables.
