Geocache Description:

Enjoy a dayhike at Boone County Cliffs! This location is a real hidden gem in NKY. Located along a tributary to Middle Creek, the preserve is named for the 20- to 40-foot conglomerate cliffs that outcrop on the valley slopes. The conglomerate is composed of gravel that was deposited as glacial outwash about 700,000 years ago. You will find a 1.7 mile loop trail with beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. Cache is located just off the trail so please do not bushwhack. There are sturdy benches along the path to stop and rest and take in all the beauty around you.

Container is small duct taped medicine bottle that holds log only – so BYOP. Please replace it as you found it.

Directions to Boone County Cliffs State Nature Preserve: Northern Kentucky I-75 exit 181(KY 18) Follow KY 18 west for 10.8 miles, then left on Middle Creek Road for 1.5 miles to gravel parking area on left side of road. Parking: N38'59.602 W084'47.079

**DAYTIME HUNTING ONLY – PRESERVE IS CLOSED AT DARK**
