Before the Orange Line came along, I rode the 99 bus every Monday through Friday to work. There were two intellectually disabled individuals already on the bus when I get on: Barry and Jamie. Generally, they were vying for a spot right there standing by the door and driver. Usually Barry got the spot first, and he was determined that it was his job to welcome each and every rider with a "Good Morning" - adding your name if he remembered it. I mean each and every rider....even when there were lots getting on. Sometimes I trumped him and said "Good Morning, Barry" before he had a chance to say it to me. He was excited when someone did that - and he got a big HUGE smile on his face.
Barry's competitor for the choice "shotgun" spot was Jamie, who egged Barry on and on about it never being a good morning, and he hates mornings, and such. It got comical some days, trying on other days. At times the bus driver had to chime in and stop them from bickering.
In any case, they made the ride entertaining - and it IS really nice to have someone say "Good Morning" to you every morning. Since both Barry and Jamie "retired" and no longer ride the bus, I felt this cache needed to honor them.
===================================================
Step 1: Start at coordinates for GC23R7B (Scary Bushes).
Step 2: Walk across McLoughlin Blvd (at crosswalk) and determine the Stop ID number for where I would wait for the #99 bus in the morning to head to Portland.
Step 3: Add the Stop ID number to each N and W coordinates separately: N 45 19.646, and W 122 32.967 to get your new N 45 xx.xxx and W 122 xx.xxx. This leads you to the next coordinates.
Step 4: Walk to new coordinate location.
Step 5: Determine the Stop ID number at this new location. This is where I get off the bus every evening from work.
Step 6: Subtract the Stop ID number from each N and W coordinates separately: N 45 27.231, and W 122 40.565 to get your new N 45 xx.xxx and W 122 xx.xxx. This is the coordinates to the final location of the cache container.
Step 7: Walk to the final destination to get the cache!
