Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Ringwood State Park. Park hours are listed as 8:00AM to 8:00PM.

The cache is a small rubbermaid lock and lock container hidden off the Orange trail near Sheppard Lake.

By Boot or by Boat? I hid the cache by boot, but I believe you could use a boat. The cache is hidden about 40 feet from the water and about 200 feet from the Orange trail.

NOTE: Depending where you park, there may be a per vehicle entrance fee between Memorial Day & Labor Day. Current Fees appear to be: Ringwood & Skylands Manor: No Fee on Weekdays, $5 on Weekends; Shepherd Lake: $5 on Weekdays, $10 on Weekends.

Please remember that these connected parks are home to all sorts of wildlife, please be observant & cautious. I have run across black bear, snakes, deer, and lots of TICKS here (amongst many others).
