Geocache Description:

Located on the cornwall recreational path along the St Lawrence river.quick park and grab. This cache was placed to give younger cachers the chance to find. Have fun and good luck.

Bike, walk or stroll along the picturesque St. Lawrence River and through the beautiful flora and fauna between Cornwall and Ingleside. The Cornwall Recreational Path offers over 40 km of bike paths along the St. Lawrence River from St. Lawrence College to the Long Sault Parkway and beyond.

Cornwall's riverfront heritage can be traced through historic plaques placed along the bicycle path. Starting from the eastern end of the old Cornwall Canal and continuing behind Domtar, this scenic 4 km walk captures the history of Cornwall from the arrival of the Loyalists to the building of the Seaway.

For the outdoor enthusiast this recreational path stretches over 75 kms, the majority of which follows the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River.

Container is a thermos covered with black tape. original cache contains items that each of our children added.(toy car,costume jewelery etc.
