Travel Companion Memorial Cache - Raff#1 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

cervisvenator: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,
Cervis Venator

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the given coordinates. You will have to solve the puzzle to find the real location.
Do not remove the remenants of my old Travel Companion!
My Travel Companion has been muggled - but its soul still travels the world: TB334Q0. Maybe it will return here some day!

When my faithful travel companion finally had to give in I decided to dedicate my very first GeoCache to it. It is a waist-bag who has followed me around on my travels around the world since I got it as a gift and accompanied me in my recent GeoCaching-adventures. It has contained lots of foreign stones, currencies and gadgets from around the world. I put most of its current contents as a cacher-bag in the cache as well. Most of it was actually things I have picked up on my travels and had ready for trading during caching. I hope some of you want to trade some of it when visiting my travel companions last resting place. But even If my travel companion had to give in, its soul still wanders around, from cache to cache attempting to reach the places we have been together.

There are some ways to locate its final resting place, and I will sketch out one of them below:

One person starts with a bike at Tyholttårnet, GCZR6E and another person starts by foot at Pole Position, GCM182. The biker heads straight towards Pole Position at a velocity of 3.73 times the velocity of the person on foot, simultaneously heading straight for the coordinates given in this cache (the fake ones). When the person by foot reaches her destination, she starts heading straight towards the biker who immediately stops and starts locking his bike. When the person by foot is halfway on the stretch between them, the biker starts walking towards the person by foot (now also by foot and at the same speed). When they meet, they can finally sign the log together! ^_^

If this approach is tried, please follow paths available, and do not climb any fences or stride over any graves. The cache location is not inside the nearby cemetery.
